About This Place

Imperial Pizza stands as a beloved staple in Secane, PA, delivering an authentic old-school pizza experience that’s warm, nostalgic, and irresistibly satisfying. Specializing in classic pizza and hearty cheesesteaks, this no-frills, cash-only spot captures the essence of traditional neighborhood pizzerias while proudly serving up some of the most flavorful and affordable pies around.

Step into Imperial Pizza, and you'll immediately sense a deep connection to simpler times. The atmosphere is unapologetically straightforward — compact, focused, and welcoming to pizza lovers and cheesesteak aficionados alike. If it’s nostalgia you crave alongside your meal, Imperial provides an immersive stroll down memory lane. The friendly staff, the iconic KI3 phone number, and the old-school menu all come together to make every visit feel like reconnecting with a beloved local tradition.

When it comes to the menu, Imperial Pizza truly excels in quality and value. The pizzas are generously sized — boasting a crisp yet sandy-bottom crust that’s quietly distinctive — and never burdened with unnecessarily sweet sauces or gimmicks. If you love classics, the Pepperoni Pizza ($12.95) and the Extra Cheese Pizza ($12.95) are timeless choices, boasting rich tomato sauce and gooey, melty cheese that pulls apart perfectly. For those who enjoy a vibrant veggie medley, the Veggie Pizza loaded with broccoli, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions ($16.00) offers a fresh, savory bite. More adventurous eaters can even indulge in the “Ulcer” pizza, an eclectic mix including mushrooms, green peppers, onions, sausage, pepperoni, and anchovies — though you can easily customize it without anchovies.

Beyond pizza, Imperial’s cheesesteak ranks as a must-try. Praised by local fans like Jim “The Cheesesteak Guy” Pappas and James Johnson, the cheesesteak here is a perfect balance of juicy, well-grilled meat, melted cheese, and a sturdy roll that holds everything together without overpowering the sandwich’s main stars. Whether you like your steak plain or decked out with fried onions, Imperial delivers a truly satisfying, old-school flavor with an impeccable grill technique that ensures every bite tastes like a labor of love.

Customers rave about the unbeatable combination of taste and price. Marc Marinacci celebrated it as “the BEST pizza this side of New York,” noting that Imperial’s prices are refreshingly reasonable compared to pricier, trend-driven pizzerias. Dylan Baker’s endorsement of the pizza as probably “the best” in town reinforces the reputation for quality without any shortcuts.

For groups, Imperial Pizza is party-ready. Birthdays, school events, and weddings all find a dependable catering partner here, with the team eager to accommodate large orders — though a heads-up is appreciated to ensure your event goes off without a hitch.

In all, Imperial Pizza offers a genuine taste of Philadelphia-area pizza and cheesesteak culture, wrapped in an unpretentious, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re in for a casual night with friends, a late-night bonfire, or a family celebration, Imperial’s consistent quality, nostalgia-laden charm, and honest pricing make it a go-to spot that stands above the crowd. If you want a pie that’s rich in flavor, nostalgia, and community spirit, Imperial Pizza is waiting for your order — and it won’t disappoint.

Different Cheesesteak #1253. $9.95 cash only. You know I love $9.95. Old School Pizza shop. I got a cheesesteak with fried onions. I saw Liscio’s boxes so I am assuming a Liscio’s roll. The meat had a very good old school grill flavor. I was watching the grillman. He spread the meat out while it cooked. All the meat got to touch the grill and it all got flavor. Decent amount of cheese. The fried onions got a little lost. $9.95 I am not going to complain. I took my cheesesteak to Shipbottom Brewing in Swarthmore. That was a great idea. I love my beer. $.25 for the parking meter. Plenty of room at the bar and a nice clean bathroom.

I ordered two no frills Cheesesteak. No S&P, mayo, ketchup or fried onions! This is ONE OF THE BEST steaks I've had in a while. Great flavor, plenty of meat, the roll has a great chew and not it wasn't overpriced! There are no fries (not a deal breaker). The place is... compact and parking can be dodgy but it was worth it just for this sandwich. I am the Portnoy of Cheesesteaks (Minus anyone knowing who I Am) so you can trust these taste buds ;-)

Just an old school pickup only pizza place. Small menu and they do one thing very well. It's the most affordable pie in town and I would argue probably the best. Unlike the larger chains, they don't fill their sauce with sugar. There's one size. It's a 16-in large if you order plain or pepperoni The pies are $11.95 and 12.95 respectively. There's other stuff to order but I don't think I've ever done so. Cans are still a dollar, apiece bottles are more. The people are kind, efficient and helpful. At a time when you can't walk out of the house often for less than $40, it's a really nice option to have.

Is it the best pizza I’ve ever had? No. But the whole experience and nostalgia is amazing. The pizza is good too! Unique…sandy bottom. Who knew Delco had a beach? The old school menu…the KI3 in their phone number…just takes me back to simpler times in life. I love cash only! They were there for my buddies and I sitting around a bonfire at 2am. And it’s always 10 minute pickup/45 minute delivery, as far as I remember. This is the epitome of Delco. It’s hard to explain if you aren’t from here. KI3-9393 is a number I will remember for my entire life.

The BEST pizza this side of New York !! All others in Delco are the minor leagues. Also price is half of the "fancy dancy" so called pizzeria. People are friendly, no BS. Thanks Imperial , please don't ever change.
